DESCRIPTION OF WORK
metroEV installed a 20-unit infrastructure and 9 EV charging stations at The Rio IV. The main electrical room, located far from the underground garage, made it difficult to route the necessary power to our EV charging panel but we were able to overcome this challenge. metroEV also assisted with recovering 50% of project costs through an Ontario EV charger rebate, saving condo owners and the condominium board a substantial amount of money.
PROPERTY OVERVIEW
Built in 2003, The Rio IV at 195 Merton Street is a well-established condominium complex offering suites in Toronto's Midtown neighbourhood. Developed by The Conservatory Group, Rio IV is one of four buildings that make up The Rio residences.
The Rio IV
is reducing its Co2 emissions by 40 metric tons, equivalent to the carbon sequestered by
48
acres of forest in one year.*
