EV Charging Infrastructure and Smart Station Installation
20

20
unit infrastructure
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
metroEV installed 20 charging stations and implemented a 20-unit EV charging infrastructure for these three condo buildings located in Ottawa: 88 Richmond Road, 98 Richmond Road and 108 Richmond Road. Initially rejected for NRCan funding, we swiftly pivoted to secure support through a 3rd Party Delivery Organization under the ZEVIP program. The installation currently supports 20 EV charging units, with the potential for EV charger expansion thanks to metroEV’s charging software with power management.
metroEV’s charging software optimizes energy distribution by dynamically balancing power loads across all active chargers. This ensures efficient energy use, prevents grid overload, and allows for the seamless addition of more charging units without costly electrical upgrades. By managing peak demand and optimizing charging schedules, metroEV’s technology provides a cost-effective and scalable solution for multi-unit residential buildings, enhancing convenience for residents while promoting sustainable energy practices.
