DESCRIPTION OF WORK
metroEV partnered with Scotiabank Plaza to install 4 shared EV charging stations in the building’s commercial parking facility. Unlike private EV chargers, shared EV chargers are accessible to multiple users, allowing tenants or visitors to charge their vehicles.
These shared chargers are ideal for commercial settings like Scotiabank Plaza, where dedicated parking spots for individual users aren’t always practical. Instead, the chargers were installed in accessible locations within the garage and integrated with the metroEV charging software that manages user access, charging sessions, and billing. This project highlights how commercial buildings can future-proof their facilities by adopting flexible and smart EV charging solutions that serve a broad range of users.
