DESCRIPTION OF WORK

metroEV outfitted an EV charging installation at 15353 100 Avenue, located in Surrey, British Columbia. Following a comprehensive energy study, we determined the existing house panel had enough electrical capacity to accommodate up to six EV chargers.

Our team ran a wider EMT conduit from the electrical room to the designated visitor parking spaces, providing a robust infrastructure for future expansion. This carefully planned setup allows additional circuits to be pulled in the future without significant upgrades or disruptions, making it easy to install additional EV chargers when needed.

The decision to install shared EV chargers is beneficial for a property like The Soul. Shared EV charging stations, located in common areas such as parking garages, are available to all residents and funded by the condo board. This approach gives equal access for all residents, including those without private parking spaces, and offers a convenient solution for a building of this size and layout.
