DESCRIPTION OF WORK

metroEV completed a condo EV charging installation at 370 Highway 7 East in Richmond Hill, installing two private Level 2 EV charging stations with 30 units of EV-ready infrastructure. While only a small number of residents currently require EV charging, the building took a proactive, forward-thinking approach by investing in scalable infrastructure that supports future demand.

This condo EV charging project demonstrates how condo communities can prepare for growing EV adoption without overbuilding upfront. By installing EV-ready infrastructure early, additional chargers can be added efficiently as resident demand increases, without disruptive construction or expensive electrical upgrades. Through metroEV’s turnkey condo charging solution, the installation was delivered seamlessly, from design and permitting to installation, commissioning, and load-management configuration.
