metroEV is proud to announce our membership in the Canadian Charging Infrastructure Council (CCIC), a national organization dedicated to expanding and strengthening Canada’s EV charging network.

What is the CCIC?

Through EV charging advocacy and collaboration, the CCIC works to expand Canada’s EV charging access and infrastructure.

The CCIC brings together key stakeholders across the EV charging value chain from charging station owners and network operators to installers, service providers, and financial institutions to create a unified industry voice towards the government and stakeholders.

CCIC’s Mission

The CCIC’s mission is to build a comprehensive and economically sustainable EV charging ecosystem across Canada. By working collaboratively, CCIC members help:

Catalyze private investment to expand access to EV charging across Canada
Champion innovation and flexible policies that enable growth
Ensure equitable access to charging in all communities
Remove barriers to charging deployment and streamline investment processes
Foster a diverse and competitive market that benefits all Canadian
Drive transparent regulations that is based on evidence
